Republican defence of Scooter Libby goes this way here on OU CAMPUS
TRUE TO FORM and as everyone predicted the REACTION from the Republicans/Conservatives hatchet-men here (in our Building) towards the Libby verdict is this. These will be the Talking points on Fox for Hannity and OReilly tonight.
A. Clinton lied under oath(47 million dollars was spent to investigate White-Water and they could PIN NOTHING ON HIM, so they impeached him lying under oath for a trumpeting act on a question no red blooded male should have been asked when the investigation was on financial improprieties)
B. This is a “waste” of tax payer” money (see Point 1 for conservative waste of tax payer money)
C. Ted Kennedy should have been tried for murder(should have been punished)(this is for 1969 July GOLLEEE he ain’t even President or ever gonna be Presidential material!!
D. Hillary voted for the war.
SHEESH guys is there ANYTHING INTELLIGENT, LOGICAL AND RATIONAL YOU CAN SAY now? I am getting bored with the predicted reaction. Give me something exciting like Anne Coulter and Bill Maher does. Put your foot in the mouth please but please excite me with a MORE NOVEL reaction. The above 4 points apply to all the foul ups, acts of blatant no-bid contracts, lies and deaths since 2003 Spring. So what is new?
As for the verdict, I am sure politics as usual played a big role and The Wilsons were not as important as they claimed to be. But the FACT is this is part of a pattern of deception by this Whitehouse
